Grants may be requested for translation costs and/or production costs. A maximum amount of SEK 20,000 may be applied for as a production grant.
Grants for production costs may be awarded for four-colour illustrated books or for books that are considered to be particularly costly to publish in translation for other reasons, such as the production costs of poetry, comics and graphic novels. The grant cannot cover copyright costs.
Without this information, we will not be able to process the payment request and pay the grant.
A bank verification letter is a document issued by the applicant's bank. The letter confirms that the stated account belongs to the applicant and contains information such as:
The recipient’s name, address, person/organization number and bank account.
The bank’s name, address and person/organization number
Contact person at the bank, should we need to contact the bank
Issuing date
The letter must be signed or stamped by the bank and submitted as a PDF-file
It must be written in English or Scandinavian language.
If you have already submitted a certificate with this same applicant profile, in connection with a previous application, and the account information has not changed, the system will recognise the information and you do not need to upload the certificate again.
